2. The Movie Database (TMDb) API Compliance

3. Zero Video Hosting & Non-Streaming Policy

Movy is an informational companion app and personal organizer. Movy:

• DOES NOT host, store, upload, stream, or redistribute any full-length video, film, television episode, or copyrighted audio files.
• DOES NOT maintain video playback servers, torrent trackers, or peer-to-peer indexers.
• DOES NOT provide unauthorized bypasses, cracks, or circumvention tools for subscription services.

All streaming availability links direct users strictly to certified, legal subscription video-on-demand (SVOD), transactional video-on-demand (TVOD), or free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platforms (such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Max, Hulu, and Disney+).

4. Third-Party Trademarks & Cinema Operators

All brand names, trade dress, venue names, and format tags featured in Movy belong to their respective registered owners:

• IMAX®, IMAX 15/70mm®, and IMAX with Laser® are registered trademarks of IMAX Corporation.

The use of these names and format labels is nominative and descriptive, intended solely to inform cinema-goers of the projection technology and venue amenities available for public screenings.

5. Fair Use & Cinephile Trivia Stills

High-resolution movie stills presented in the Movy Trivia Arena are utilized under the Fair Use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107) for transformative purposes of cinema education, historical commentary, film identification, and trivia gamification.

6. DMCA Notice & Takedown Procedure

Movy respects the intellectual property rights of creators and content owners. If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that any content displayed within the app infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)).
